Mental Health and Deafness
Our National Centre for Mental Health and Deafness (John Denmark Unit) provides a high standard of specialist NHS mental health services to adult deaf people. It is one of only three NHS providers offering community and inpatient mental health treatment for deaf adults in the UK. To learn more please see our John Denmark unit page. Crisis Care Pathway for children and young people
A new crisis care pathway is being developed for children and young people across the 10 boroughs of Greater Manchester.
This is an exciting development that will make a real difference to children and young people who are experiencing a mental health-related crisis.
The pathway is being delivered by Pennine Care, Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
