Dementia, Recovery, Health and Wellbeing course

The Dementia, Recovery Health and Wellbeing course is taking place through the GMW Recovery Academy, with sessions hosted in both May and September 2014.

The aim of this course is to provide you with facts about dementia, common symptoms, treatments available, and techniques that will help you to cope with the effects of dementia.

The course will provide you with information so you understand people’s experience of living with dementia and what support is available. You will also find out about research on dementia and how to get involved.

Who should attend?

This free course is for people with a recent diagnosis of dementia, their carers, relatives, friends and staff who support people with dementia.
