Help choose Trust's values

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH) is calling on service users and volunteers to help create the organisation’s new values.

A series of workshops will be taking place throughout February and March, during which values and beliefs for GMMH will be developed to help take the new Trust forward.

Juliette Tait, Head of Workforce Development at GMMH, said: “Values are the way in which our beliefs are visible through how we behave. Values logo

“They are the core of our organisation and what makes us unique and special. Since Greater Manchester West NHS Foundation Trust and Manchester Mental Health and Social Care NHS Trust came together to form the new organisation, it has become clear we share strongly-rooted values that were co-developed with staff, service users and carers.

“We want to use these as a foundation to develop one core set of values alongside
accompanying behaviours, which reflect what is important to us.

“You are at the heart of developing these values.  Please come along to the workshops and use your pride and enthusiasm to develop shared values which will help us meet the needs of those who experience our care, first hand.

“The sessions will be co-designed and co-facilitated by service user representatives who will share their powerful stories about what good care looks and feels like.”

The workshops will take place as follows:
