Let's talk about North Manchester General Hospital - have your say
Residents are needed to help improve hospital and community services, by having their say on the vibrant future of North Manchester General Hospital.
Manchester Health and Care Commissioning Group, in conjunction with social enterprise Healthy Me, Healthy Communities, is looking for people to help with an engagement project around the hospital site.
The objective is to identify what affects the potential for good health and well-being, recognising the wider determinants that impact on health and well-being, prioritising what could improve health and wellbeing, what residents value in their community and exploring ideas for health and well-being provision that could be offered on or connected to the hospital site, taking into account existing neighbourhood provision/assets.
A number of workshops are taking place across North Manchester and the remaining sessions are as follows:
- Thursday 16 November, 930am to 12.30pm: The Avenue Library and Learning Centre, 9 Victoria Avenue, Blackley, M9 6HW
- Saturday 18 November, 2pm to 4pm: Crumpsall Park Visitors Centre, Ash Tree Road, Crumpsall, M8 5RX
- Wednesday 29 November, 10.30am to 1.30pm: Miners Community Arts Centre, 35 Teddington Road, Moston, M40 0DJ
Recognising not everyone will want to attend a workshop, there is also a survey that people living in north Manchester can complete here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/QGCDKDY
A paper version of the survey is available HERE.
Once completed, please post to: Manchester Health and Care Commissioning, Ground Floor, Parkway 3, Parkway Business Centre, Princess Road, Manchester, M14 7LU.
If you would like to advertise the workshops, a poster is downloadable HERE.
