GMMH Assistant Director of Finance wins award
Adele McKie (GMMH Assistant Director of Finance) recently won the John Andrews Award. This award recognises a finance colleague who has shown care and compassion to support the health and well-being of colleagues during the 12 months preceding the award.
The award is a celebration of the life of John Andrews, a much-missed member of our NW finance community, who sadly died in 2020. John supported many people in many ways across his career. ‘Looking after our people’ is a key strand of the NHS People Plan and something we are proud to support across the North West finance community.
Adele has supported numerous staff within the finance department as well as across the Trust – she also regularly delivers Christian Holy Communion Service at the Trust as an ordained priest.

She has gone above and beyond in supporting our team and the wider organisation. – I’m delighted the NW Finance Directors recognised this too awarding Adele this honour.”
