Secondments to Manchester Resilience Hub
The Manchester Resilience Hub is a unique, all age, mental health coordination service established after the Manchester Arena Attack on 22nd May 2017. The service is hosted by Pennine Care NHS FT with staff seconded in from Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS FT; Manchester NHS FT and North West Boroughs NHS FT.
The Hub offers a screening programme to track recovery of those affected. It also provides telephone support, home visits, facilitates access to interventions, offers consultation, delivers events for those affected, provides access to the arena (through virtual reality and visits), delivers training and provides speakers for other events and develops national guidance.
We have 12 month secondment opportunities for 2 days a week for Band 6 and Band 7 mental health practitioners (adults and CAMHS), to start 1 October 2018.
A high level of clinical skills, good interpersonal skills and a willingness to embrace change is essential for this role but you will also have an opportunity to enhance your skills, work with clinicians from other areas and disciplines and be part of a unique service which is leading the way nationally in psychosocial response to major incidents.
