About our service
Working with adults (aged 18 years and over) with severe and enduring mental disorders currently involved with the criminal justice system. Provides advice and assistance to partner agencies, primarily the Magistrates Court and probation service regarding mental health issues.
The service's aim is to liaise and divert - along with partner agencies - mentally disordered offenders from the criminal justice system wherever possible to ensure that the mental health needs of offenders are met.
