Future of Young People’s Mental Health event - 8 December 2017

GMMH's Research and Innovation department are hosting an event called 'Future of Young People’s Mental Health...setting priorities for research and service improvement' on Friday 8 December 2017 at The Curve in Prestwich.

The event is for staff, service users, carers and interested members to find out more about how we are helping our young people with mental health difficulties.

Guest speakers to include:

  • Dr Samantha Hartley: What are the foundations of good inpatient care for young people and their families? 
  • Dr Louise Theodosiou : Thinking about gender: the problem with pronouns?  
  • Dr Janet E McDonagh: Developmentally appropriate health care for adolescents and young adults
  • Professor Alison Yung : Psychotic symptoms in young people
  • Dr Heather Law : Interactive workshop: What are your priorities for mental health research with young people?
