CAMHS Team Leader, Laura Shannon, speaks with Amazing Arabella for National Careers Week 2021

Last weekend, in honour of National Careers Week 2021, our very own Laura Shannon, Team Leader at the Gardener Unit, was interviewed by teen influencer, Amazing Arabella, on Instagram TV.

Amazing Arabella , recognised as one of the top teen global influencers, reached out to Laura to find out more about what it’s like to work for the NHS, especially during these times. Laura spoke with Arabella about her role at the Trust, her journey to becoming a Mental Health Nurse, the most rewarding parts of her role, and her advice for those who are considering a career in the NHS. She also shared some top tips to help people improve their wellbeing.
