Tuesday 5 December is Care Certificate Celebration Day, and this day is used to celebrate the Care Certificate and the support staff who complete it.

The certificate gives our patients and staff the confidence that health and care professionals have the same introductory skills, knowledge, and behaviours to provide compassionate, safe, and high-quality care and support in their own particular workplace setting.

Find out more about the Care Certificate here: Care Certificate | Health Education England (hee.nhs.uk).

“One quote has kept me going, which is: 'The struggle you're in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow. Don't give up.' - Robert Tew.

“The Care Certificate and the two weeks mandatory training have helped me stand out in my place of assignment.

“Truly, I would have struggled if not for the trainers and training modules impacting every participant with knowledge to succeed.

“This was possible because the facilitators took time to prepare us for the task ahead. Today, we are excelling as a team and as individuals.”

Halimat Jagun, Support Worker

“Through the lens of the Care Certificate, my role as a Support Worker has evolved into a meaningful connection, driven by empathy, competence, and a commitment to person-centred care.”
