Housing First Dual Diagnosis Team Blog - International Thank You Day

By Jade Elliott, Dual Diagnosis Practitioner

Thank you can often be taken for granted however, it is essential to show gratitude from the bottom of your heart to those who made your life better and happier.

As to mark the importance of telling a thank you, International Thank You Day has been established. With this celebration Day on the calendar, one can understand how much a thank you can mean.

Never hesitate to utter these simple words which give more sense.

Today we, the Dual Diagnosis Team, have chosen to dedicate our THANK YOU’S to all of the amazing hard working and truly dedicated engagement/support workers.

As an understanding of our appreciation of the work that you do, we wanted to share some of our messages of thanks on just how amazing you are!

“… what a great team! :) (Oct 2021) – Jade Elliott, DDP.

“Thank you for always going above and beyond for the people you support.  You certainly do exceed what’s written in your job spec!  I can wholeheartedly say, I have never met such dedicated and pro-active individuals – keep doing what you are doing, but don’t burn out, you are amazing!” – Jade Elliott, DDP.

#togetherwecanmakeadifference – Gill Heaton, DDP.

“A massive thank you Zone C for all the work you do, you go above and beyond your role on so many occasions without any of us knowing and I just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate you, thank you!” - Zoe Holmes, DDP.

“Big shout out to Paul in zone C for all the work you have done over the past 2 years with AR” - Zoe Holmes, DDP.

“There would be no success stories in housing first without the support from the engagement workers who work tirelessly with our clients, thank you” - Zoe Holmes, DDP.

“I would like to say a big thank you to everyone in Zone B, Bury Bolton and Rochdale. All staff work so hard to improve the lives of everyone we work with.  You show commitment and dedication and it's a privilege to work with such like-minded people. We are all in it together and a big thank you from me”.  - Debbie Livesey, DDP.
