Are you interested in developing your research experience? The NHS ICA Internship might be for you!

NHS Research and Development North West is inviting Nurses, Midwives, Allied Health Professionals, Pharmacists and Healthcare Scientists to a workshop to find out more about applying for the NHS England Integrated Clinical Academic (ICA) Internship Programme 2024/2025.   

Date: Thursday 12 December 2024  

Time: 9.30am to 4pm (full day)   

Location: Holiday Inn Manchester – City Centre, 25 Aytoun Street, Manchester M1 3DT

This workshop is designed for Nurses, Midwives, Allied Health Professionals, Pharmacists, and Healthcare Scientists who are interested in pursuing a clinical academic career and making a difference through high-quality research. During the event, we’ll discuss your personalized training plans, supervisor arrangements, and collaboration with Research and Development (R&D) / Research and Innovation (R&I) departments - key components of your application.  

Why attend? Significant changes are coming to the programme, and this workshop will guide you through the application process and help you prepare for a successful application. Attendance is free, but registration via Eventbrite is required .  

Who should attend? This workshop is open to potential applicants, supervisors, and line managers.
