Team Administrators
Supporting the wider Liaison and Diversion (L&D) function, the Team Administrator provides confidential secretarial and administrative service to the team. We handle all referrals coming into the L&D team across Greater Manchester. These referrals are allocated to the relevant teams, whether that be teams based in a custody or court setting.
Our work can also involve:
• Sending out appointment letters and mail shots
• Answering telephone calls
• Having an overview of the patient pathway ensuring referrals, reviews and appointments are processed using our electronic patient record system
As a community team, we can provide vulnerability screenings to our service users and support them in finding the right care. Service users may also need our help to access different types of support such as bereavement or drug and alcohol support. In this role, you will receive training on our different in-house systems to manage records efficiently.
This also comes with an aspect of data analysis, whereby we use data to ensure we are meeting waiting list time targets locally and nationally. It is a very gratifying role, as we can see in real terms the positive impact we have on people’s lives. As the team is currently in a period of growth, there are opportunities to shape the administrative function within the team in conversation with the leadership team.
There is a wide range of support available for someone coming into a Team Administrator role. Whether it’s your colleagues or Senior Leadership, someone is always free to assist you remotely or in-person. The leadership team is always visible, as is the Admin Lead, and there are daily safety huddles as a chance to connect with the wider team.
