Working in the Community

Two colleagues walking through the trust headquarters

Staff have access to a number of facilities, especially when working in the community. Having access to several community venues to meet service users gives the benefit of choosing somewhere that is appropriate and beneficial for the service user which can increase the chances of engagement from the service user.

Working in the community with our service users is a great example of support being provided in a relaxed environment. In an environment with less pressure, service users can feel more encouraged to share their personal circumstances and what support they require. Being in a community setting helps our service users feel more comfortable and at ease, allowing them to build trust easily with our staff members.

We have access to several facilities including:

• Community Hubs

• Cafés

• Women's Centres

• Support Group Locations

As a patient

As a service user, relative or carer using our services, sometimes you may need to turn to someone for help, advice, and support.
